Dean-Anthony, born in the vibrant Washington Heights of uptown Manhattan, grew up in a household rich with musical heritage. His late grandfather, a salsa composer from Puerto Rico, inspired his father, creating an atmosphere where music was always present, yet it felt like mere background noise to Dean. It wasn’t until his teenage years that he discovered a deep love for hip hop, diving into various genres and developing a keen ear for dissection and creativity. Over the years, he honed his craft, cultivating a gritty and unique vocal style that set him apart in the New York scene, sharing his passion with his community—until life took a pause on his journey...
